You don't get the maps, you can get the overlays of the lanes to put onto your maps, to show you all the legal lanes to ride. You will have to install a map and device for this, thought you was using viewranger
yes i got veiw ranger im going to use my phone as the gps unit its insured so guess it will be cheaper than buying a gps unit.
the bike is in the good hands of jd racing so will be back in couple weeks
thanks steve
can anyone tell me how to find out lane numbers as i have not got a clue
Any current member can ask for the overlays showing the latest verified legal lanes in Devon by e mailing John Leah at mailto:johnleah@blueyonder.co.uk with your details.
Once he's happy you are a member he can send you the overlays (Memory Map or Google Earth).
These show all lanes with their numbers & most have a brief description of the lane.
It is (or should be) a condition that after a ride a run record should be sent to John with a note advising of any lanes changed from the overlay (washed out, blocked etc.)
This way John can keep the overlays up to date & has proof of use available if needed when the anti's try to stop us using them.
Hi Dean, i removed john's email address from your last post to save him getting spam email, yes even on our forum !!!! i suggest sending any personal information request's via the message board.
