Watch out for Paul Doughty number 33 from Saltash on a TTR250 doing his first MCC trial - give him a big cheer if you see him please!

Some stills taken this morning - not very good camera work and also very little light especially for the 8am photos - sorry! It does show the wide range of bikes entered including what appeared to be a BMW 1200GS confuse

Sadly my mate Paul, who I went to see and cheer on, didn't show. I hope he is OK - competitor 33 if anyone saw him?

The Lands End Trial is the best of the three MCC trials IMHO and the weather is much kinder at that time of year - as is the day length! You gonna try that one?

No, wasn't me! I was with one with my son(6) my brother, dad and nephew, we were by the bench! couldn't believe how many cars went through! Last car was meant to go through at around 1, God knows how long it took them in the end!

If you had walked 100 yards further up the hill you would have come to my marshalling post. Where the kids and I were making bacon sandwiches and boiling water for fresh tea and coffee.

I definitely want to start doing some LDTs if anyone is interested in teaming up?

 Nick Fell from Merrivale was riding a 1200GS, apparently the only entered. Apparently he cleaned Simms and Tipley ! I'm trying to convince him of the merits of joining the TRF but he's a typical Devon farmer.......
