Oh dear I seem to have fallen of the lane and through the hedge!! what should I do now!! try and winch two and a half tons of a small hazel bush and wonder why the bush started moving and not the land rover
Looks like you had a great time, despite the rain. Such a pity to have had to miss this.
Good luck to Damien for a speedy recovery - was the incident spectacular, or just nasty?

I was following Damian at the time of his off, it wasn't that spectacular - back end stepped-out on some slippery rock on a mild descent - but it was nasty the way his left arm was wrenched as he hit the deck As the day wore on I think his pain was also migrating to his rib/hip area. Ouch. Get well soon matey.

I thought i was the only one that drunk sherry!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad your on the mend. Day two was a little wet but great day. Thanks for a super weekend Russell. And thanks to all for the great company
Thanks ,Russell, you did a great job.It may have been persisting down but we were all enjoying the lanes so much,we hardly noticed a bit of damp stuff!
Two full on days that the Essex boys won`t forget in a hurry, having visited all the local favourites, such as Woo Hoo,Devil`s Steps,TallyHo,Washabrook(uphill),The Lane of Pain,to name a few.
It takes a lot of planning to cover that much mileage and number of lanes,so "terrific job",Russ.
Oh,and a bike wash laid on at the end of each day, down by The Watermans.
