If you have a  twinshock or EVO motorcycle sitting in the back of your garage somewhere, why don't you come and race it. You may even go laneing on one biggrin.

Here are the specifications for elidgeability:

TWINSHOCK.

ANY BIKE MANUFACTURED WITH TWO REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS AND WITH DRUM BRAKES AND AIR COOLED INCLUDING UPTO 1984 HUSQVARNAS, PRE 82 MONOSHOCK YAMAHAS AND WATER COOLED ORIGINALS THAT WERE MANUFACTURED PRE 1982. FORKS MUST NOT BE OF GREATER DIAMETER THAN 46MM.

SPECIALS ARE ALLOWED PROVIDED THEY ARE WITHIN THE SPIRIT OF TWINSHOCK RACING.

ANY DISPUTE OVER ELIGIBILITY WILL BE DECIDED BY A VOTE TAKEN FROM COMPETITORS WITHIN THAT CLASS.

THE EVOLUTION CLASS

FOR ANY RIDER ON PRE 1990 MONOSHOCK BIKES.

(EVO BIKES WILL BE FOR MODELS MANUFACTURED BETWEEN 1981 & 1989, & PROOF OF AGE OF MANUFACTURE MAY BE REQUESTED IN THE EVENT OF A DISPUTE. MACHINES MUST HAVE ORIGINAL FRAME, ENGINE AND BRAKING SYSTEM)

You do not need to have a licence. You need to be 16 years or over.

Enter early as there are late entry fees.

There are many classes including pre-65 classics.

Lee, #405, was an obstacle in all my races at one time or another. The 250 Husky did well against some other the bigger bikes. Lee riders a TT500 Yam. The wonders of renewed compression after a re-bore wink.
