A greenlaner for less than a grand (if thats even possible)

Hi I'm Luke I've just joined up and I'm after a road legal bike for under £1000. Needs to be 250-400cc and four stroke ideally. I've been looking for a few weeks now but not found anything that's ready to go in my price range, if anyone has anything please let me know.

Louie from Torquay is looking to sell his 1996 TTR250 because he just isn't using it. He reliably informs me that it is in really good condition and it certainly looks like it from the photo he sent me - copied above.

It has 6 months MOT on it but no reason to suspect it won't sail though the next one.

He is looking for £1,200 for it (but that may be negotiable).

PM me if you would like his phone number.

Cheers

TTR

Yh they are pretty questionable. Do you think I could knock a few quid off because they need replacing! Lolwink

It looks ready to go. Do bear in mind if you buy a bike from elsewhere the cost of things like hand guards and the right tyres. I would add a couple of tool bags and that's about it.
I've ridden the same for two years and find the reliability and parts availability excellent. The TTR might be seen as a bit sane but that is a compliment. If you want a ktm later on the bike will be worth much the same.

Don't worry Brian, Steve probably thinks there was a famous rock band called "Deep Pink"
