Has anyone got a pair of goggles laying around that I could borrow or buy? Never used Goggles before and would prefer to try before I buy a more expensive pair..

Safety specs also work very well, googles can be a bit much when its hot and sweaty.
They can be great tho, better in rain and cold than the specs. I also find them better with contact lenses.
I stopped wearing helmets with visors mainly because the air vents and wide opening on MX/Enduro style ones are far better if you are getting a real work out, They can also be quite a bit lighter. I also find googles or specs fog up less as you don't breathe directly onto them. Plus visors are generally expensive to replace.
In driving rain or on fast roads a visor is hard to beat though.

I started with goggles then went to visor and said I wouldn't go back. Then 2 years ago I've gone back to goggles and really get on with them. Can be a pain in wet - but as long as you keep the inside dry they are fine.
Just purchased a pair of goggles (without fans).. And also got a pair of safety glasses.. So testing will start soon.. Will keep you updated and thanks for the help peeps.
