I'm planning a trip to N Wales in Sept and need some info please. The area I'm interested in is northwards from Rhayader . I gather there are some good legal lanes up there; Dolgellau, Barmouth, etc. but don't know exactly where they are.

GPS tracklogs or similar would be excellent.

Any help will be appreciated

I have just come back from a trip to dolgellau barmouth area, you will really enjoy it!

The report is two topics below this one.

The lanes are fantastic my favourites being Nant Braich-y-rhiw and Barmouth Mountain pass.

I used paper maps but I'm sure someone will be able to sort u out with a gpx.

Morning Dave great riding up there and the views are breath taking, i can get a map marked up for you with a great route, ill pop in a see you in the next couple of weeks. cheers
