David just put a route together from MM and we went exploring not really knowing what we were going to find
Riders
Deci
Nige
Russell11031967
Lane numbers as follows
192-056, 192-055
192-265 the hardest lane of the day but loved it ha ha please don't fill this in you will make it boring, here's a few photos of 265.
Then 192-039, 192-037, 192-038 Was Fairly deep in here. 192-265, again 192-047, 192-034, C-041, 192-016, 192-012, 192-007, 192-008, 192-217,
Then 192-003 Accessed from Western end first see photos near the tree stump was up to bo**ocks.
Then went round to Eastern end.
Then onto 181-045, 181-044, 181-050,
Then 181-054 Approached from the Southern end up to footpath and footbridge but couldn't find where to drop into river.
Then we returned along 181-054 and down 181-049 and into Uffculme for a Lunch stop.
Then went around to Northern end 0f 181-054 but were met with a locked English Nature gate?
Then we did a short road trip for fuel at the M5 J27 and back again to try (white)181-055 but it was blocked and has been for years apparently.
North End of 181-055
South end of 181-055
Then we did (white) 181-056 and (white) 181-057 both of which were extremely overgrown but we finally forced our way through.
South end of 181-057
Then 181-041, then looked for 181-036 but was told it didn't exist buy someone who must of known we were only feet away from it!! Then 181-037 which was again really heavily overgrown, then 181-042.
Then another (white) 181-062 were halfway down I came across Nigel in a large mud hole with the bike partly on top of him after he had gone over the handlebars, I asked if he was alright and once he confirmed he wasI had to laugh AND TAKE LOTS OF PHOTOS
Then 181-063, 181-046, 181,052 (white) 192-301, 192-009.
Then 192-010 which we approached from the West end and when we got to the top and just saw a field we may have turned back if we hadn't seen the TRF/DCC Sign on the propped open gate.
So we carried on keeping close to the hedge and got to the bottom of the field were we found the gate to be locked but managed to lift it off its hinges to get through.
And put it back as we found it of course.
Then 192-226, 192-013, (white) 192-349.
Then(white) 192-299 soon to be a footpath :(
Then 192-022, and finally (white) 192-298
Thanks David and Nigel I had a great days exploring and we definatly did some exploring even if I was the ONLY ONE TO DO ANY WADING JJ
Well done Russell, cracking report! The TRF/DCC sign was a joy to see, pity about the padlock, but it is a brilliant example of the DGTRF in action. Many thanks to Wacky (I think) for getting it done.
Russell, you know you regretted not taking your Speedos

Great report Russ, loads of info and yes most of it we know about but can't do it all without help sad times
192-265 cracking lane with quite a bit of work done on this one in the past just so you could access the road
192-003 has been viewed loads of times Russ, we do look and try to find ways to repair the roads but its down to cost and access plus the usual support from group
192-054 PROW have invited us to contest the padlocked gate and have it removed (Northern end) but there is a problem with deep water on the road route plus when you reached the river from the southern end, the entrance/exit is straight down over, it use to be more gentle but someone made it vertical, plus at last years AGM slide show report i walked this road with my daughter and its too deep for safe passage, again where water is on route or is the route of the road lies the biggest problem for sure
192-298 whats it like for overgrowth now mate? cleared this one years back with Doug + JT
Informative ride report but not much chance of getting things cleared on the whitey's' as we can't seem to manage to keep open the legal roads
Great ride and report David and Russell. Was a good laugh and very interesting.
Just got to go and strip down my throttle grip to clean out the clay slurry
Cheers nige.
Great report Russ, loads of info and yes most of it we know about but can't do it all without help sad times
Poor show why join an organisation if your not willing to help
192-265 cracking lane with quite a bit of work done on this one in the past just so you could access the road
We all got through unaided but did get a sweat on
192-003 has been viewed loads of times Russ, we do look and try to find ways to repair the roads but its down to cost and access plus the usual support from group
6 cube of Concrete pumped into the corner would help

Yes I walked in the river up to the main river was deep in a couple of places especially with riding boots on but very beautiful
192-298 whats it like for overgrowth now mate? cleared this one years back with Doug + JT Was pretty clear buy soon to be a footpath
Informative ride report but not much chance of getting things cleared on the whitey's' as we can't seem to manage to keep open the legal roads
I DISAGREE THINK WE ARE IN DANGER OF LOSING FAR MORE CLAIM AND WHITE LANES THAN LEGAL ONES IF WE DONT CLEAR THEM OR UNBLOCK THEM JUST MY PERSONAL VIEW
We are the largest group in the UK!
No good being the largest if we DONT GET OFF OUR ARSES AND DO SOMETHING

Naaa carry on here as there's nothing incriminating in post, it would be good to let the public see what we as legal trail riders have to put up with on our legal journey
Plus it let them know how the water erodes public highways, plus Nige was trying his hardest to fill in said hole Love it!
