Well I may not ride this weekend and see if I'll be "allowed" to do a doubler next weekend (depending on weather too).
Options on the table
Saturday 17th - Core @ Moreleigh MX (nr Avonwick). Excellent track, especially in the dry, nothing overly technical although a couple of steepish bits. Well run with food/toilets and medics. see www.coreoffroadevents.co.uk. Any tyre.
Sunday 18th - Somerset TRF @ Exmoor. Always an excellent organised setup in wonderful private woodland. Food/toilets. Trail rear only. see www.somerset-trf.com
Sunday 18th - Endurocks @ Tedburn St Mary (nr Exeter). Enduro-cross based practice day. Well run with food/toilets/medics see www.endurocks.co.uk. Any tyre.
And if this doesnt appeal to you there's >1000 devon's finest lanes to be explored, which might be a little quieter than usual due to above
Hi Wheely, what do you know about the Endurocks Tedburn venue? I have an idea, but not sure I'm right Do you know if it's suitable for a returning rider (i.e. novice like me )? What are the Enudrocks team like?
Sorry for all the questions, but his is local to me, so could ride there and back assuming I don't have an incident in between.

I dont know whether ether you need me to reply now or whether you have been enlisted by Doug ?
i am not sure I've been to this particular venue (someone correcy me if I'm wrong) - so can't tell you the layout or technicality. Generally the standard course is rideable by all - although perhaps brand new novices may struggle. There are clearly marked harder sections which are optional - so not unlike a standard DTRF/STRF fun day.
Generally speaking the average pace will be a little higher than a TRF event - but there's plenty of places to pass or to pull over and I've never had issues with faster riders getting by (most say cheers as you sigmal them by).
The organisers are nice and friendly & day is started with a riders brief and a more sedate sighting lap. Then ride as much or as little as you want.
£20 if you pre book (latest pre book entry usually Friday evening before the Sunday).
Cant decide which one to go to on the sunday !!
I know the STRF exmoor days are very good but like the sound of the Tedburn enduro-cross shame they aren't on sat/sun instead of both on sunday
does anyone know more about the Endurocks day or been to the venue before ? where a bouts is it - is there a postcode ?

Weather Gods - "Do your thing"
Hey what about Lane clearing on the 18th?
you can have your photo taken
I'll even bring me shears down just in case you break a nail and it needs trimming
The lad has set off for tedburn this morning - if any of you are there keep an eye on him for me KTM 250 2T and a monster energy lid......he's gone there as he can't ride a 250 on the road so could not attend a TRF event - if he could of he would
