Beta Xtrainer 300

Hi all,

Just wanted to see if anyone has ridden (or owns) the new Beta cross trainer as I've seen some good reviews and I'm pretty tempted to trade my KTM for one!

Would be interested to hear peoples opinions on them especially from people who have actually ridden one as I'm a little curious about the tank range?

Thanks in advance

A lot depends on how the carbs set up

My GasGas was set very rich when new (25mpg)

new needle, and experimenting with clip position, now returns

35mpg which equates to 70 miles ish (9.5ltr tank)

You can get a 11.5 ltr tank now from the states, as I have been thinking about one of these was out last weekend and one managed just over 70 miles on a tank, I like the low'ish seat height and how light the bike feels

MIght go and see what sort of deal I can get on one this weekend

Thinking about getting either the rr or XTrainer new. Still can't decide, just wondering if at 6'3" I'll be too big for the XTrainer! Haha! Looks like a cracking bike though!

The 300 rr is 2" lower than a KTM exc due too having linkage and lower seat etc
