Greg Villalobos is doing a write up on all the good ROW work that Devon TRF does, it will be going on the TRF main website HERE
He's asked for photo's showing ROW work as well as any good trail riding images in Devon, these can be from any period of time, so if you have any favourite pictures you'd like to share please let me know and I will pass them on.
Don't seem to have many photos of actual lane clearing. Here is a poor quality one from a DGLG lane clearing day at South Emlett back in March 2003 (Mud Monster Lane). The day was notable for having reps from the BHS and Ramblers although the lovely lady from Ramblers was in her 80s!
A few more from the day below.
Another poor photo of a tree clearance with hand tools only at Middlecott Weeke back in August 2007.
East Devon - 11 Feb 2009 - Roger, Steve H and myself clearing a fallen tree near North Star:
Some great photos along this thread, particularly liked the last one Brian and wondered what else they could add to the list of deterrents......I guess maybe a 'Danger Mines' sign
Mr Cubber - I seem to recall you being upside down at that spot one day
Bath long gone and lane looks nothing like that now......it was 'epic' back then (as my lad would say) before it was all graded - though it can still be fun on those stones going up!!
It's the camera. A bit of flare and overexposure because you shot into the sun.
Ha ha, the flare was deliberate - it was the missing photo on the previous message which vexed me somewhat!!! Bloody computers - can't live with them, can't live with them....
