Changed the ride at the very last moment to take in a couple of lanes and minor roads were like farm tracks, so Paul was bringing the DRZ. Leaking gaskets on my bike, meant I had to limp home. Hope it will be an easy fix......
I want a bonnie now. Dear Santa.............................................
The chain broke, whilst attempting to sort it had a biker in his car stop and take over. He had a comprehensive toolkit and helped unjam it and fit the spare link I was carrying. Its great to see that biker camaraderie is still out there!! A second guy also stopped to see if he could help.
By the time we fixed it, it was to late to meet Steve. So took it home and got the Triumph out, did a circular route from Exeter and Okehampton down to Thor motorcycles in Bodmin. Calling in at JD racing in Saltash to look at the Ktm's and then back through Plymouth. I too love Motorcycles!!
Jon, where did you get the man bag?. Looks good, might get one for my Scrambler. How do find the Blingy steering damper?

Bag was made by tanner bates and was eye wateringly expensive - but I 'have a thing' about good quality leather and - well its now on the bike...... Its there as I didn't want to cut stock pipe mount off and it annoyed me so wanted to cover it up. I fabricated an alloy bracket to mount it.
I do have a triumph leather (tan) tool roll I had on there to start with your welcome to if you want it? - you would have to make a bracket but its a half hour job and I have the ally here for it.
Damper - I rode a mates scrambler fitter with one, and found it made the bike feel a bit less twitchy when riding 'in a spirited fashion' it may be in my head - but it works for me
The kits are pricey from the likes of Norman Hyde etc - but I was lucky that my mate had a spare mount kit so I just had to get the correct length/dia damper - so the whole lot only stood me at about £30 as I recall, its blingy as it just happened to be a gold one that was the right size - but I like it
