Hi, I wondered if I could get some advice please. I have been registered as a used on the Devon TRF forum for a while now and have got to the point where I want to join the TRF. I have tried to do so but cannot get to the point where I get the online application form available to complete. I put my log in details into the main TRF site but it wont let me log in, when I tried to register on it, using my DTRF details, it tells me that the details are already in use....I'm confused....
Do I have to re-register on the main site with a different username? If I do, can I use the same e-mail (I have read the guidance ref the importance of using the right e mail address), or am I missing something so simple here that I need to have a stern word with myself.
Any and all useful advice will be greatly appreciated,
You'll need a separate login on the national forum, although you can use whatever e-mail address you like, whether you use it here or not. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your reply Roger, that really what I want to do, but I click on the link you posted, scroll down and click on the membership "buy now" link, that takes me to a page with a log in option which I try but it wont let me, and there is no on-line form. I just thought the national forum area was required to be honest.
Well, problem solved, I registered onto the national forum using different username and password etc, which after 6 attempts it accepted, activated the account via the e mail they sent, then got to the on line application page, completed the form and paid my money. Easy as that!!
So, I guess that I am currently the newest TRF member there is.
Mind you, after getting so lost trying to sort that out I dread to think how lost I will proberly get once I get out on the bike!
Well done indeed. Should you ever need a Dick Dastardly to advise on matters of utterly inconsequential or, preferably no importance whatsoever, I know a man who can help. Enjoy the lanes they are Devons best kept fun biking secret and folk on this forum do a sterling job to keep them going.
