Had a fantastic day courtesy of Somerset TRF on their forest day. Wheeled the bike out of the back of the van when i got home- rear tyre as flat as a pancake (valve stem). First thought that was lucky could have happened during the day.
Letting the bike idle after washing it it died. Never had an injected bike before and spent a good while cranking it over and scratching my head. Checked the fuel tank- bone dry. second thought that was lucky- i had ridden back to my van from the forest day with precious more than an egg cup full of fuel left.
Just put a tubliss on the bike- overnight flat as a pancake again- just checked the inner inflation valve - leaking slowly- quick swap out- all good- that was lucky- could have had the whole lot off again.
You could feel put out but i just felt lucky- sometimes things just go your way.
It must be spring- glass half full and all that- Are you lucky or unlucky?
