Managed to escape the wife on our Wedding Anniversary and go riding So went on a little solo run to check out a few lanes that have changed so headed for Lopwell to have a look at the repairs and all seems back to normal and I got the tide right this time then worked my way up to Tavistock and then across the Moors to Princetown, Postbridge down to Widecombe where on 191-084 I met the African Twin about two hundred meters into the lane at the West end stuck on a rock , over heated and with the clutch fried and an exhausted rider, so we waited for it and its rider to cool down and then man handled it up the hill until the incline was less severe, then adjusted the clutch cable took the traction control off and gave it another go, finally we got him back to tarmac and rode into Widdicombe and had an ice cream together from the hut and he left to ride to bridge to sort out the warranty with Bridge on the clutch as it had only done two thousand miles After all the excitement I then did a few more Moors lanes before getting down to Buckfastleigh and on to Staverton and then Littlehempston to look at the new flat Tally Ho I reckon looking at the stone it may soon be back, just depends what size stone is under the surface. Then on to Totnes and out to Rattery where 202-130 has also had some levelling treatment and widening by someone, dosent look like PROW work though but another lane that's ruined and looks like 4x4s are using it a lot now. Then on to South Brent for the last couple of lanes 202-338 and 202-120 and then back home.
