We have an XT600E with a slightly  bent fork at college would like it straightened if possible, any solutions out there please ?

Don't know about locally but these people have a good reputation www.pittedforks.co.uk/fork-straightening.php.

Also you might be able to find a new set?

Over the years, if the leg is not chrome cracked etc, then have done with V block, 20T press and dial gauge.
Bit by bit, the over straighten is the obvious problem.
Thats the only way that its done, unless someone tells me otherwise.

I had some TTR ones done by Bike Worx if that helps Doug - a few years ago mind you - when they were in Isca Road!

I.ve not had any straighten but pitted forks done a really good job on my harley forks when. I had them re chromed

bring it over Doug, will give it a tweak under the fly press.  Provided they are not creased its no problem.

 I used them a few years back to restore the forks on an ST1100 (Pan European) and they did a good job - like new.
