Many thanks to you Sean for a really enjoyable days riding in a part of Devon I've never ridden before, it was especially so as it was the first full day of proper Trail Riding on my recently restored BSA 250.

Going into it I'd no idea how this bike that I'd spent a lot of time and money restoring would perform on our lanes? All I can say is that my expectations were surpassed, it performed brilliantly and was a joy to be out riding it after waiting so long biggrinbiggrinbiggrin It was good to get the old BSA muddy again, it is now all back to being clean and shiny again!

Sophie really enjoyed the day out too, just a shame you didn't catch her on film perfecting vertical parking on one of the lanes smile

You have some truly great lanes out your way and all without seeing another person on any of them all day confuseconfuseAnd I'm well impressed with your lightning ninja dismount every time we crossed any water, all with your camera at the ready smile

Cheers and thanks again

John

Great video, Sean. Good to see Sophie out and about on the rieju, hope the vertical parking didn't break anything like last time.

The BSA is looking really good John; it must have been a little nerve-wracking for you on it's first outing. I haven't really had chance to get know mine yet as I broke my hand in a crash in Andorra on the Beta several weeks ago.

It is surprising how tiny the old bikes look alongside the modern trail/enduro bikes.

I was worried Colin and it shows when I get the bike started blankstare

Have only seen one UK road test where they took one on some proper green lanes by Frank Melling (remember him?), he rode it in Wales and was very complimentary about the bike as a usable Trail bike so I had an inkling it might be okay? That was a long time ago though and having owned a modern enduro bike I thought it might be really bad in comparison, of course it's not as good but it has the makings of being a good usable, fun trail bike smile

Hope you hand recovers soon and you can get out on your Beeza!

It does look small compared to modern stuff although the same goes for cars and chocolate bars smile, pint of beer's still the same though... not all bad eh biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Edit: See you at the Exmoor LAF on Monday, cheers John
