South Hams MCC - the WooHoo LDT

By popular request the South Devon MCC are holding the WooHoo LDT on Sat 24 Feb 2018 under the AMCA jurisdiction in the South Hams part of S Devon. The route is approx 80 miles with 30 sections over lots of green roads and private land . The sections are trail bike friendly with a couple of mark-takers to decide a winner. The start/finish will be at The Avon Inn, Avonwick, TQ10 9NB where the landlord is a biker and will provide refreshment.
The entries will be limited to a maximum of 120 riders and entry forms and regs can be obtained by applying to sdmccldt@gmail.com. Also check out our Facebook page : South Devon Motor Cycle Club.

NOTE : Entrants at last year's event will automatically receive Regs and entry forms by email in January when they are available.

2018 WooHoo LDT Regs and Entry form are now available in the "Files" section of South Devon Motor Cycle Club Facebook page. 30 sections and about 80 miles in the South Devon countryside including public roads, green roads and private land . A different route from last year including new sections. What's not to like ??? 

 

Observers will also be required for this event so volunteers would be welcomed please . A payment of £10 will be made to each observer . Anyone interested ?

Looks like it was a challenging route with plenty of interesting lanes included.

Good to see the track alongside part of Gorridge waste being used in the very last shot.

 winkwink Gorridge waste, never heard it called that before.....

 

BTW WooHoo is ridden at the 5 min mark and I encourage as many as possible to ride that lane to show the NIMBYs who live at the bottom it is a ROAD !!
