It was a cold one...

Short notice run organised by Nick (KronreifTrunkenpolzMattighofen) along with Rupert and James (who contacted Nick on Facebook TRF page).

So the 4 of us met at Tesco garage in Axminster for 9:30 start. It was barely above freezing on the ride there and I was pretty cold by the time I arrived. I fueled up, changed gloves and then we were off.

Here is the rough route we took,

85 miles in total.

The first hour was painful (cold fingers) but after that it warmed up a smidge and conditions were excellent. A few ice patches on the tarmac, and the old puddle was frozen over but otherwise the ground was soft & loose.

Only one badger was had, and due to the very wet condition of the ground the rider punished with a 1/2 body mud bath. I won't say who it was... biggrin

Tree down on 192-093 but with Nicks trusty LIDL pruning saw it was cut and dragged out of the way.

Good to get out again and great ride with you guys.

Cheers for the report Rich, was certainly a cold one!
That tree was nothing compared to the one JT and I had to cut through a year or two back...

Nice ride report Rich, i haven't even remotely seen you get your yorkshire handy's involved in something physical yet biggrinbiggrin

Nick what do you look like with that pose, captain America or something winkbiggrinbiggrin funny or what biggrin

Great to see you out there having fun and above all else carving up a small tree - well done to ALL involved
