Must be deep water to drown a CRM unless someone has removed the baffle plate, or the snorkle, or the internal baffle plate.

Usually the triple layers of protection before water gets anywhere near the air filter itself will suffice to keep the motor spinning.

I love the pinch to open drain plug under the air box to speed up draining.

Lots of deep water about at the moment in places where usually the puddle isn't deep enough to worry about so where were you Russ?

A big thank you to Russ for leading a brilliant day in the Devon lanes. Also to Damian for being TEC. Not sure how many lanes we did but it was certainly a full day.

Good to meet Jeff and to see Steve again, glad to see you are recovering well.

My gang were beaming all the way home and said that the pace set by Russ was cracking.

Not been up Tally Ho for a few years and was surprised and disappointed to se that it now resembled a driveway to a stately home!!!

Deep water, slippery rocks, steps, ruts, plenty of mud and good company, what a splendid hobby.

See you all soon and thanks again.......

Check the condition of the squeeze to release rubber sleeve valve under the airbox. If hardened by age water can get in or out from underneath. The part is cheap.
