First one of the season

Having serviced and MOTd both machines Mrs Sidecar Trev and I had a trundle round our local lanes this morning.  We spent last week in Spain so it felt a bit parky first thing, we put plenty on.

We fuelled up and headed out through Holcomb and on to Dawlish, up long lane and then on to Ashcomb.

We crossed the common but once we got to the disgusting mess at the other end, the detour lane around the 'settlement ' was blocked by a recovery vehicle.  We managed to scrape passed it but I wander what the reaction from the inhabitants would have been if they saw us.

Onwards from Ideford down to the ford then across to 3 tree lane down to chicken shed lane and home.

We met several natives along the way with their dogs, most were pleasant, one had 3 Spaniels and a face like a slapped arse.

The hedges have mostly been trimmed round here and the lanes are very dry still.

Looking forward to a great winters riding, and I will post some beginners runs up on here if anyone wants to join us, as Libby is still finding her feet/tyres.

cheers Trev

Ps Has anyone ridden in the mountains around Taragona/Salou area, we hired a car and did some exploring, there was plenty of evidence of of road activity, and it looked good terrain.

Looks great fun Trevor. Be up for a bimble some time if I am free at the time.

All the best

Mike

Our old friend Bob used to go in the hedges lots, so you are not alone missing the badgers !!
