Weston Beach Race

Hi I am going up to the Weston Beach Race tomorrow. First time so know nothing about it. A few questions for the initiated

  • Best place to stand
  • Where to park
  • Do I take my own chair
  • any other advice
  • and what number is John Heal want to give him a big cheer as he passes.

Couple years ago I drove to the train station just outside Weston, parked for cheap, train to Weston, nice cooked breakfast in the supermarket just outside the station, and walked to the sea front in about ten mins, getting out was easy, while everyone else was battling the traffic, a quick train ride and I was on the M5 no bother.

Hope your day went  well,the weather was quite good.

My race went OK I did 11 laps and came 127 position. I did not see you but then I did not know
