Devon TRF Group is run by a committee of volunteers and the AGM is your opportunity to voice your opinions on how the club you pay to belong to conducts itself, and to hear what has been achieved over the past 12 months.
The running order for the meeting will be along the lines of:
- 2019 officers reports, this gives a fairly accurate picture of all our activities for the year
- Nominations and voting for officers for 2020
- Any other business
Regarding officers for 2020, this gives the group a chance to move forward with some fresh faces at the helm and new ideas for the future.
The posts that really need filling are:
Chair
Secretary
PR and Marketing
Meeting coordinator
Nominations ahead of the meeting are preferred and can be emailed/pm'd to me or Sean. Please discuss with your mates how you can put something back into the group that works hard to maintain the fantastic roads we have in Devon, that you all like to use and enjoy. Even if you feel you have nothing to offer, I bet you have opinions and skills that we need. There is a backbone of strength and knowledge in the current committee to draw on, and you wouldn't be dropped into the unknown, we all support each other.
If you have any other points which you wish to raise at the AGM, please let Sean or I know a brief outline beforehand.
Support your officers, let them know you care, and make every effort to attend this AGM on Tuesday 10th December at 8pm.
Don't forget to support Landlord Rob at The Dolphin, who lets us use the meeting room for free each month, by coming along to enjoy a Christmas meal before the AGM begins(6/6.30 pm). Let Jacki know if you plan to eat beforehand so a big enough table can be booked.
