BSA books by Brad Jones

Has anyone by any remote chance got either of Brad Jones books languishing on their bookshelf and would like to cash 'em in please?

Namely:

BSA Motorcycles-the final evolution

and

From the Inside BSA/Triumphs Umberslade Hall Research Establishment Revealed

If so, please PM me.

I could p/x for "Tales of Triumph Motorcycles & the Meriden Factory" by Hughie Hancox (which is an excellent read!) if that helps? Having read the Triumph side of the story I am keen to get a view from the BSA bench to see if it balances up biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Hi Brian
I've all three of those books, I'm a collector for this sort of stuff so mine are not for sale, I will send you a pm as I know someone who may be able to help you!

Both of Brad's books are terrific books, very informative and IMHO are worth buying for the rare unpublished pictures that Brad has collected over many decades. These books, whilst being essential reading if you have an interest in the history of old Brit bikes, they are all slightly biased one way or another, if you want the definitive book on the final years of the BSA/Triumph group then the best book that I would recommend to look out for is called 'The Giants of Small Heath' by Barry Ryerson
