Registering a bike

Recently bought a 125 scooter that has never been registered, its 2007 and has done 6.8 miles.

I have documents relating to the import that were previously approved by DVLA and the seller then missed his inspection appointment, parked it up and ignored it until he came to move.

I need to sort out insurance based on VIN and wondering if anyone knows a good company, especially as I am going to sell the scoot straight away...

Or if you are a dealer and want to make some cash....

I've done a few old Africa twins in past from France with no problems my insurance is be wiser.

1 insure on the vin you 30 days to get it MOT
2 MOT
3 send cart grist (log book or Import papers ) + road tax fee + first reg fee

It might have changed a bit...

Hopes that helps
Steve

Best thing is to read the DVLA website it explains it very clearly.

Thanks for the input, I think I understand the process and spoke to DVLA last night. The expensive bit is taking out insurance, potentially cancelling a few weeks later
