This is a busy road, contrary to appearances, and I am sure it will soon be cleared

Can we clone you 200 times biggrinbiggrin

It might get cleared by landowners the usual stock answer is divert around the tree/obstacle wink

loads of trees down in various areas at the moment, only found out about one yesterday from some visiting Dorset Beys + girls

Looks a bigun' this one though wink

Thanks for posting up the photo and photo of lane, very helpful smile

This one is still there.  Root bole up in the air, the top branches lying downhill in adjacent field, about 18inch trunk.

This'll be on the list when we're allowed out to play again.

From it's location, OTT likely thinks that the responsible farmer is Mr Hunt, from Springfields Farm, who has blocked and challenged riders on 202-349 close by.

However, from the position, I think the tree might be on the boundary of the horse paddock field next door.

I thought Mr hunts boundary ended at the top of 349? I may be wrong though.. biggrin  Any news with that lane these days or is it lost for good? I know you put an awful lot of time into that road with paper work and physical clearing on many occasions, tis heart breaking

Anyways its still a tree blocking the highway wink

Mr Hunt has the fields either side of 349, 'hence he owns the lane too!', but I'm sure, in this case, it's next doors hedgeline.

Still, this tree is on a road, so I'll probably notified DCC of the obstruction, hopefully they are working, before we're permitted to wonder around.

re 349, there's a couple of small fallers that I'll clear when allowed, but it's still triple gated. I cycled down it this week, clearing as I went.

In my opinion, we'll not get anywhere with a DMMO towards a Byway, but I intend to submit an application before the 01/01/2026 cut-off,

to ensure it becomes something, and I can still enjoy it.
