Free Airplane App


i joined the Fb group Mach loop on Fb...awhile ago..

This free app keeps popping up when ppl ask which is best for airplane spotting...

It shows whats in the sky over the most part of europe.

just click on the plane,open the box to find out more.

who ownes it...Where to/from....type...speed..hight...military...helicopters.

That's good, thanks.

Living beneath the flight path of so many aircraft (the VOR/DME transponder on Berry Head makes Torbay a cross roads in the sky) I've long had an interest in what's 'up there' so use apps such as this.

Freedar.uk is especially interesting as the information bar on the right makes it so usable. However, a drawback is that it seems to only cover airspace near the UK (I suppose the name is a cluesmile)so, in (probably only) that respect the one I use (www.flightradar24.com), may be better suited to some.

Of note is just how busy the sky over the US and China is begging the question whether so many people still flying will counter measures to control Covid-19.cry
