This months meeting will take place next Tuesday at 2000 hrs. We will be using the Zoom meeting platform again as it was very succesfull last time.
The present committee will be invited as a matter of course, if anyone else would like to join us, just pm me your email address and I will add you to the list. It would be great to see a few more faces this time.
Our glorious leader/vice chair Noel is going to join us, and has been in training for literally minutes. If he can do it, and my 85 year old mum, you can too.
There will be a standard agenda plus AOB at the end so if you want to chuck in your ten pennuth then this is the time to do it.
It is quite normal to enjoy a pint during the proceedings as this is what would happen at the Dolphin.
I hope you are all well, and your bikes, gear, mot, insurance and packed lunch are ready for the end of our present predicament .
I bought one of them, thanks for posting Bri Won't be here for the meeting though, so I will have to use my phone Can it be plugged in to a monitor screen, to see it bigger?
If you have access to a Smart TV then you should be able to "cast" your phone up on to it. I gave up doing Zoom on my phone. The dual screens on my PC work a treat instead

But is it possible to get your phone onto the dual screen monitors?
Blimey, I didn't think it would be that technically challenging, is there a Zoom guru on the forum that can help with the questions. I'll google it in the morning.
Tonight we will be joined by Andrew Byatt, who is the membership director for the TRF, he is prepared to answer whatever questions he can and is looking forward to meeting you all.
I have been speaking to him today and he expressed an interest to join us.
My first ever zoom meeting ( apart from the dry run with Trevor last week )
A lot better than no meeting but I couldnt really tell when it was appropriate to speak and I guess its the same for everyone as there are odd silences while we all wait for someone to speak then two or three light up as a result of those pauses.
In a live meeting its easier to read when someone has finished or wants to say something and let them have the floor.
Trevor said 'turn off your microphone' so I did and that meant I was never going to speak ........
So when I saw others with their microphone left open, I sneakily joined them (-:
If the un-edited meeting is available here on the members only area of the forum, would this mean theres no reason to record minutes ?

You looked a little uneasy at times Noel
Good to see ya on there though, good meeting for sure and yes a tad different but it helps keep the 'inclusive' approach open!
great way to keep things moving along in these tricky times
Well, I'm glad you think it was worth doing again, there was 16 of us including Andrew, which was great. I am trying to extract the recording and find some way of putting it on here it may be a YouTube link. That could make it very public.
Does anyone on here have any experience with doing such a thing.
