The normal Christmas Eve Santa ride out won't be possible this year, which is shame as it is good fun and raises money for a worthy cause.
I thought that instead, I would go out (dressed up) either on my own or with as many socially distanced chums as is allowed. I plan to raise a few quid from my family and chuck some money in myself.(no tin rattling)
Then I though, perhaps if everyone who could, did the same, in their own areas it would be possible to raise a reasonable sum of money between us for the Devon Air Ambulance.
You could go out on your trail bike, mountain bike, E mtb, 4x4 or anything else you have fun on
What does everyone think?
I am happy to coordinate this, collect the money and send it to the charity at the end.
It would be great to get a load of pictures together on here just to share a bit of Christmas spirit, and perhaps dedicate the ride to someone you know who hasn't made it through this year.
Hope everyone is doing OK and planning something nice for Xmas

Have a great day, anyone who is out tomorrow and don't forget to chuck something in the hat. If you can't make it or feel you would rather stay safe at home, it would still be great if you donate a bit for the DAAT.
If you do go out, remember to get some pictures and put them on here.
Finally, send your track logs to John Leah to keep him busy on Christmas Day
Our ride out was a tour of the local towns and villages to collect money from Steves mates. They were very generous and we had chocolate and mince pies a plenty.
Eventually we clocked up nearly 80 miles with lots of local lanes, plus the opportunity to wave to the general public.
It was great to meeet Mark, who came with Us .
Steve was well dressed by his misses and slipped into character with ease when meeting the kids.
The look on the young lads face in Hound tor wood when we told him we were just off to collect his presents was priceless
more pictures to follow
