Yes, it is still going but is closed at the moment due to lockdown. It is a brilliant trials training area (and a number of competition rounds are also hosted there) run by John Luckett (07969 336392). It will cost you £10 for a session or £100 for a year - all the money goes to charity.

They are nice people to deal with and the last time I was there simply took you down to the area and left you to it. No hassle and all levels of challenges from really easy to is that even possible. I saw a few parts which I said no way could anyone complete and then saw tyre marks!. Great fun and cheap day out.  Bring your own food and drink as its quite a distance from any shops etc

I am fairly certain it is only trials bikes allowed, we we have been there as a TRF group and hired trials bikes from Muddy wheels.

It is really for trials bikes.

If you want to take any other type of bike (with a trials tyre) you would need to speak to John.

It has scaled back a lot since the days of hiring bikes and running training courses. It is now a 'pay-and-play' area with some accommodation, but no longer a trials school.

I doubt it, most Trials grounds are trials bikes only (low weight and power = low impact) and maybe you could stretch it to a Honda/Montesa 4 Ride, even a KTM Freeride may be frowned upon

Trials tyres are a definite stipulation of most trials grounds
