Cripes Bennetts want over £285 (paying monthly) for my TTR and WRF insurance Third party with 9 years no claims, seems a bit steep to me. Who do you use?
That's with 160 compulsory and no voluntary excess

I use Bikesure which came out the best price for fully comp with all the extras added. Its a nightmare every year as they try to rip you off and after using compare websites eventually match the prices. CN are the worst for that I find
Fully comp is often less than third party, my bikes almost regardless of value with no no-claims (I don't bother) are between 70 and 80 each with both me and the wife on them.
Theyve obviously seen you ride, just gonna have to take this one on the chin bey!

Carol Nash and use Bike sure to make competitive price.
Top advice.
I've been with Carole Nash (CN) for ten years +no claims for TDM 900, 400 EXC. I was recently quoted a £40 increase from CN's £165 last year to £205 this year - for fully comp including b/down and recovery in EU and legal insurance with £125 excess. Complained / negotiated but they said £187 absolute best they could do. I declined and informed CN I'd chosen to shop around with Bike Sure search engine. They [Bike Sure] recommended, funnily enough, Carole Nash at £155. Phoned Carole Nash and suddenly £152 is the best they can do ... okay...bit of a racket it seems... getting new business is more valued to CN than retaining legacy business, until legacy business is ready to leave.
Good ultimate result and as stated great advice from NailM
