Sat 29th South East Dartmoor Run

No takers but I went anyway. Could have done with someone to open the fifteen gates though.09 191-073 Easdon_Moment.jpg

The clear waters in North Bovey ford hid a deep well just before the beach and the crm foundered but restarted easily. Beware the dark deep bit.06 191-069 N. Bovey byway ford_Moment(2).jpg

Between the cattle grid and the gate on Bonehill Down lane a large intimidating step has eroded away and I was glad I made it up although the bike stalled and required a quick kick.10 191-083 Bonehill Down lane to gate_Moment.jpg

Nice to see the ruts on the Widicombe bypass repaired. I passed a mountain biker before the ford at Pizwell and stopped for lunch a little way upstream. 16 Runnage bridge_Moment(2).jpg

Bluebells everywhere at the moment. Carpeting every wood and blanketing all the hedgerows. Very pretty.23 191-096 Blackadon SSSI_Moment.jpg

A very pleasant outing reminding me why I must ride more often

Great report and video Pete. I enjoyed the familiar sound of the 2 stroke engine. My KMX is still going strong (touch wood).

Good day for it Pete

Looks like thats an easement filled in on Bonehill, I might be wrong wink

Surface water washing over the top and causing the ledge to appear, anyway keeps it interesting wink
