I know a few members have ridden with Lyndon so might find this report interesting. Doesn't sound like he has slowed down much since I was last down there
Yeah, I saw that and read it Brian and I have been there.
It was a bit slow and structured for the first day as he effectively 'graded' our group. There were about 10 of us, mixed ability but no novices.
Day two was a proper adventure and I really enjoyed it
Day three was a bit lame as half the group were knackered but Lyndon took us to some awesome hillclimb challenges that those of us who were up for it could attempt (-;
He actually stopped me from attempting the 'big one', probably just as well cos Spanish hospitals are only helpful if you have insurance and lobbing a bike from the lip of that climb would have been hard on it .....
My tactic quickly became to shadow Lyndon when he was leading ( he sometimes pointed out a loop for us to ride and stopped to take pictures ) cos he knew the best lines and it significantly reduced the dust load on my lungs.
Meals whilst out on the trail and in the evenings were fantastic.
I had an unforgetable hour alone in the hot tub with a full moon above.
