The organisers have been working for several months to sort out with the ACU and MSA how to run the event safely under the Covid rules.
This has finally been achieved and the event is on, starting from Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford at 00:01 hrs this Saturday 8th January.
The bikes will start leaving the Ilsington Village Hall rest halt to tackle Simms at about 10:20am.
The village ladies will as usual be providing hot food and lots of cakes and toilet facilities to both spectators and the entrants.
Please don't try to enter the car park at the Village hall as it is only for competitors.
Also as usual they have set up a car park for spectators at the village Hockey club to the north of the village.
If you come by bike you may be able to park in Simms Lane up against the hedge before you get to the bottom of the hill.
The hill is still open as a public highway whilst the trial is on so you may wish to provide entertainment for the spectators.....
Local entrants include Paul Studley at 76 on his 230 Honda, Graham Melhuish at 3 on a 350 Beta, Graham Lloyd from Axminster 13 on a 250L Honda, Steve Elford from Honiton on a 125 Honda Innova.
