Got myself a KTM EXC 400 FACTORY..opinions.

So after deciding I need an electric start I managed to find a 2011 ktm 400 exc factory, has had the same owner for years and had very light use and has full service history.

Is a very clean bike, any tips for this bike are welcome if anyone has experience of them.

The bike also came with a very nice set of excel super moto wheels and tyres if anyone wants to make an offer as I will not use them

Are you going racing?

Thought you wanted a trail bike?

Should have stuck with the xr250

From what I can see it looks a clean bike.. be shame to get it dirty really.

I'm sure it'll be fine trail bike.
I think the 400's are a good size for trail riding. You won't need or use all the power in the lanes but it can come in handy on the tarmac.

2011 are the best year for the XC4 engines as they had sorted most of there problems by then! Will be a perfect bike for the lanes

I had the 350 EXCF 6 Days and yes it needed reg oil changes etc is was worth it for the ear to ear grins and power delivery when needed. Great bikes I think you will enjoy the 400 for sure and I know of many that have high miles with zero issues

Thanks for all your advice. I am taking it nice and easy Trevor, have done the route you took me on for the last couple of Sunday mornings just to get used to it all but having an absolute blast with it.

Look forward to riding with you again soon. Hope last night went well.

Hi..no cush drive I'm afraid.

The wheels are mint and good tyres, also have a spare front tyre with them.

Also come with the discs, pads, chain and front mud guard for the moto wheels.

Send me a private message if interested.

Tried the bike up the road today and think I will fall in love with it soon.
