Escape artist

Whilst unloading the gear for our 'Ham lane' project today we had loads of visitors unexpectedly....Yep they had performed the escape trick and happily munching on some fresh grass in Ham lane' biggrin

Phoned the local farmer who in turn phoned the owner fo the escaped sheep, lambs in there and all, proper maternity flock

Farmer rocked up fairly quick as I guess he could see the ££££ signs (few quid there) I had me trailer empty at this time..lamb chop anyone...biggrin

There was hardly a grunt from the young farmer let alone a bloody thank you blankstare the trusty sheep dog rounded the escape artist up and managed to safely stow them away in another field next to Ham lane

Anyways nice to do a bit of community help and the farmer I phoned was thankful, building bridges with some land owners smile

A little gratitude doesn't cost much, well done Ian.

Heard on Sunday from our mate that over fifty sheep were rustled away on the old A30 near Honiton, loaded up in broad daylight, no problem wink

Lamb chops smile
