Raised at the August meeting, there has been work undertaken at the eastern end of 202-050, where it joins the A381 Totnes Road, Abbotskerswell.
A new surface water drain had been built with a large galvanised grate, but also two new full width kerb steps.
Whilst there have always been kerb stone steps here, the new ones are taller, and although we like a challenge, there cannot be many public roads with steps in them!
I have spoken to PROW, who were aware that work had taken place, but they would now visit and assess it.

So just be careful turning in off the A381.
The steps haven't always been there and are only about 15 years old. I imagine the material washed out of the deep gulley in the lane has blocked the drain causing the new works.
Be sure to only use the lane from this end as the exit onto the main road has extremely poor visibility and fast traffic.
