Congrats Ray on passing your chainsaw course thus acquiring a Ticket of competence 

Thanks to the Devon TRF Rights of way team for all their efforts with green roads & TRO's 

Ray's pushing hard and putting in a good shift at the office 

Gets my vote for man of the match this month wink

Thanks Wacky, I'll feel happier when using a chainsaw out clearing lanes with a 'ticket' to satisfy the TRF insurance's competency requirements, than just standing around watching Johnny Heal doing all the hard work!  And I also learnt a lot.


It was an enjoyable course, provided by Matt Bate of Wood Life Training at Kenn,  https://www.woodlifetraining.co.uk/   and I joined 3 young lady volunteers from the Devon Wildlife Trust who were also seeking a ticket. 
It's years since I've been in a 'classroom' environment and been set homework!

I'm truly thankful to have another chain saw enthusiast amongst our group smile

Yes it is a very good learning curve Ray, loads of useful tips & tricks mate wink

Its good to connect with other groups to, D.W.T. young ladies wow!! any of them interested in helping with lane clearing wink
