Just a thought but maybe the 'BIKES' signs could be causing some confusion. If you want bikes to ride the stream then maybe point directly to it and not up into the air?
BTW.. I did intend to turn up but I caught the lurgy so thought it best to keep that to myself.
I see your point Rich but if the sign points any further 'Right' there is a five bar gate into a field and I didn't want said trail traffic entering field
There are two more signs further on pointing more to the 'Right' as you travel further up the road, signs that coax you up the stream rather than riding the bank
If the bank gets ridden with the possibility of more erosion the rest of the users wont have a surface to use, then watch out for the fire works
At the moment everything the volunteer work party has achieved in the past 20 months with a resulting quietness from the locals, councillors, dog walkers, praise from all the users we encountered this weekend, wish I was off to the pub
We have to remember the volunteer work force has shown the locals, public, visitors, councillors, etc what can be achieved by the good ole Devon TRF & Friends
The councillors have kept their heads down along with the locals, (don't forget the helpful farmer/s) this puts the community in the shade and certainly the Volunteer crew in the sunshine
