The insurance company I have used previously have now withdrawn all cover for off-road motorcycling and I can't find anyone who does still cover it. They no longer even cover downhill mountain biking so I can't even pretend I was on a MTB if I get hurt!

Yes, I definitely need off-road.

Lots of you guys are (presumably) in the same situation with foreign trips, who are you using?

Hi Colin,

Ive used these people - www.voyagertravelinsurance.co.uk/

Easy process, phone call to go through some health questions and then cover arranged.

Havent claimed, so dont know what that process would be like.

Are you referencing injury insurance like the CICA type of 'all risks' Colin ?

Perhaps you need to look at their definition of 'off road'
Downhill mtb might be covered if you are injured on a road as we (TRF) would define it ?

 Thanks Tim, they do cover off-road, but only on organised guided trips. I'm riding with son who is my guide.

Yes it is cover for accident/injury that I need Unfortunately is definitely off-road - much of it off any kind of track.
For the first week we will be riding trials bikes and, in Andorra, you are free to go pretty much anywhere you can get if you're on a trials bike; they love 'em.

With Andorra not being in the EU, the GHIC is not valid so an 'off' could be expensive.

I think I may have cracked it with Dogtag Sports Travel insurance. They have 2 categories of off-road cover - under 400cc or 400cc and above.
