181-049 uffculme/culmstock lane (deep) also 192-003 fallen tree blockage

So just 2 of us went out on Saturday morning for a ride I decided to try 181-049 after walking the majority of the lane with the dog. All apart from one bit where I thought I could see the bottom of the deep bit at southern end of river. But after deciding that I would just give it a go not caring about getting wet as its warm and near to the end of the ride. Well I can confirm that unless you want to drain your carb of water don't attempt it .  I got across but sucked in water and stalled. Then I had to push the bike back across. I would say if you could go quicker or have a bike with the airbox up higher like the new yam wr's and get across.

As for 192-003 in ashhill I attempted again but there is still a fallen oak stump into the entrance and a smaller tree just past it too almost as if the house owners next too it has left it there.

I forgot to get a picture. Don't know if it's been previously reported.

Ratsash 181-049 had been pretty unrideable for quite a while.

The two trees down on 181-003 have been reported to DCC, but with a similar deep area water to Ratsash, it's another risky lane.

See DCC website for reported tree problems.

Yes I heard it was not really ridden so I thought I would walk it just to see and all but this one questionable part looked rideable. I am always up for a challenge so thought to give it a go I wonder if there is anything we could do to make them more rideable.

Had a mate try this about 12 months ago.
Exactly the same, bogged it and sucked in water.

Abandoned bike there and recovered 4hrs later.
Circa 5ft deep in places

Yes , there are warnings about the depth of the water on both records on the GRM.
