Lane advice

Hi all,

I'm heading up to Holne for  Vmcc breakfast meet on Sunday. Think a few of us are going to play in the lanes on the way back.

Are there any lanes around the holne to islington area not suitable for a Himalayan running tkc 80s?

Mat

( i seem to have limited forum access, so apologise if in wrong section )

Hi Mat

If it continues to stay dry you should be fine with TKC 80's Simms hill 191-088 due south of Ilsington is fairly steep as is the lane west of Tipley Hill cross 191-089.

Won't you be frowned at turning up to a VMCC breakfast meeting on a Himalayan?

If Im over 50 but my bike isnt does that also mean I can come on a classic bike ride if one goes ahead? To be fair my current green laner isnt a classic bit its 18yrs old and still going strong. Just got to wait until this hand is fixed and get some mudguards on the trailer then I am ready to travel further afield . Be good to catch up again Trevor its been quite a while

Classic doesn't necessarily mean old, I'm sure you would qualify Mike.
