Help needed - Is this the start of the rideable Dalditch Lane?

Confusingly, I took this screen shot from googlemaps on Dalditch Lane. I can't make GMaps match the TRF Green Map.

I've also found what I think is the other end, but it has a barrier (googlemaps dated Nov 2021).

If the first photo is the grass triangle outside Dalditch Farm then you are in the right place. The green lane 192-173 is stoney and goes gently uphill to start from the grass triangle. When riding, keep left at the first fork and keep right at the second fork. You will go through 2 wet holes and finish up at an eroded gulley T junction. Turn right and then immediately left and go on a rooty track through the trees for about 150m. There is a 6-8" step to get up onto the road at the end.

The other photo with the barrier is NOT Dalditch Lane

If you're talking about 192-173 (GRMUID 5311), then yes this is the southern end

Your other photo looks like the footpath opposite Wheathill car park, whereas you need to be at Squabmoor car park.

This video may help you as it shows the lane from one end to the other

Shot on Paul Farrow's East Devon run on January 31st in 2012, I am following the late Bob Lewis aka Bouncing Bob
