Last year we enjoyed a buffet before the proceedings and were joined by approximately 30 people. We had that number at the last meeting, which was a great showing, it would be great to see at least that number of trail riders for the AGM.
Shown below is a list of the positions on the committee and their current holders. Some of the volunteers on this list are prepared to carry on supporting Devon TRF but all of the roles are open to any member who feels that they can offer their time and expertise to running, developing and furthering our club. If you would like to volunteer for a role, please contact me via the the message part of the forum.
It is a democratic process and all positions will be voted on by the room.
If you don't fancy the responsibility of a committee position but would like to support someone in their role, we would love to hear from you. Devon TRF needs your support!
I would personally like to thank everyone who has volunteered this year to run Devon TRF, this includes the people who turn up for events and just muck in, and also the families of volunteers who sometimes do a lot of background work to support. All of your help has been invaluable.
My intention is to once again provide a buffet at 1900 hrs and to hold the AGM at 2000hs. I have yet to confirm the catering arrangements with the Dolphin. To help with planning, please could you let me know on here if you plan to attend.
With close to 400 members of Devon TRF it would be great to run out of food and not have enough seats.........but most of all, it would be lovely to spend an evening with a group of like minded individuals, planning how to protect and further the sport we all enjoy.
I cannot attend the AGM, despite the offer of food!, but I will be putting my hand up again for the role of group Rights of Way officer (or Rights of Road as National TRF refer to it) and the GRM admin.
