2024 Best Of - Video

Happy New Year folks.

Here's a selection of some of the best bits from 2024's days out in Devon mud and filth.

20 minutes are required, and plenty of volume.

If you love or loath, please comment on YouTube as (I'm told) it helps spread the word.

All the best,

Very good stuff well produced. Plenty of puddles.
Excellent banter, kids waving, helping old ladies, good show.
Very big moment at 17:07 saved by quick reactions. Stay lucky.

Thanks Gents.

Yes Pete, the moment you refer to could have been very nasty.  The camera makes everything looks faster than it is, but last thing you expect is three unregistered dirt bikes to be hooning towards you through the Ilsington lanes.  Fortunately, Dan has youthful reaction times on his side and was able to avert a crisis.  I suspect if I'd been up front things would have ended differently.  The other crowd were completely unfazed and continued on their merry way.

I had two similar moments when we twice met the same pair of riders practising enduro skills on the last ride I led on each occasion passing close by at speed with no chance of stopping.

Had we made contact the consequences would not have been trivial and it scared me so much I will not ride on weekends any more and is the main reason I no longer offer to lead rides.
