Does anyone know of an insurance company who can offer 1 days insurance to cover off road riding in Spain? Or can I add it to my existing policy? Voyager quoted me so much money, it makes the day trip not worth it.
Are you riding specifically private, off road trails, or are you riding on roads that happen to not be layered in asphalt? Presumably if the latter then standard insurance is sufficient? And for the former youd be looking at sports cover on your travel insurance.
I used fit2travel for my insurance seemed to be the only one that was reasonable price and offered off-road riding but I think it was only up to 250cc unfortunately but any on road or unpaved roads such as dirt tracks were covered up to any size bike. I spent ages shopping around and decided that was good enough without breaking the bank. My partner even made a non bike related claim and once we paid the excess for that particular segment then they paid the rest. So in my experience I would recommend.
