Is that Ball hill 180,095 near Westleigh
If so , a group of us local guys cleared this one spring 2024, I know its bad again and when the foliage dies down I intend to get some locals to give this one another hair cut, some parts of this lane gets cut sometime by the farmer dropping his flail mower in over.
Any local volunteers on here for a November trim ?
Hoc
Thanks for this Hoc, I take it this is the lane you were on about when we were clearing the other weekend, if so good on you guys for clearing it, fantastic volunteering mate
Give us the heads up on the day your cutting as you never know we might get a few volunteers from down south or other parts of Devon
Thanks Ken for the response, amazing gesture, thanks

It's about time the need for more volunteers was made a BIGGER issue within the trail riding world, they are killing their own hobby as less green roads will be available to ride.....
Will do Wacky, rode it Friday, iit was a bit of a push through with head down, the hedge each sign has been flailed on top, with a pass each side on the upper part of the hedge as well to help,

Common occurrence these days with bigger machinery no being able to get into some of the network, but you know this mate, thanks hoc
Looks like the support from this forum is gone, shame the Devon group is so splintered
Good luck to Ken, Hector, Colin, Hoc & any others who take the time to turn up to help keep the hobby alive, we thank you
Ken Brooks, Hector Vass, Colin Blackburn and my self , all put a good shift in, it took from 10.00 to 4.00 to clear this one, a hard day. Average age of the crew 68.5, and not a beard between us, where are the younger members?
