Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I couldn't find anything here.
Ken Brooks, North Devon Green Laning Legend, has passed away suddenly. He posted in my biking group that he was suffering from man flu, and unfortunately died on 13th December. I've only just found today myself.
He was one of the most gentle, gentlemen, I've ever met, and I'm honoured to have called him my friend.
WHAT!!! that is devastating news Mathew, what a nice bloke he was, I've only known him for a few months since clearing in Swimbridge (the first visit) good lord, I don't know what to say
Well.....condolences to Ken's family & friends, rest in peace Ken...sad days in the Devon TRF world as it's hard to find lane clearers
My condolences to his family and friends such a nice guy. It was a long time ago but I remember riding with him many moons ago on a ride out in the early days of joining the TRF.

Kens the amazing volunteer, friend, Devon TRF lane clearer & member on the far left, I bet his dogs will be missing him badly, forgotten their names but they were well behaved
It doesn't matter which way on the orientation I upload this photo it always comes out up side down, could another moderator try and sort this one please I've tried sorting it four times and re uploaded it four times

I only met Ken on the lane clearing at Swimbridge a few months ago, he was certainly willing to get stuck in, and he brought his two friendly dogs along, who weren't even disturbed by all the action, chat and chainsaws, but just sat there watching on.
I hope he got a chance to ride his GS? was it, up that lane once cleared.
