Any local exhaust builders?

My Honda Transalps exhaust is falling apart around itself. I have managed to find one company online who makes a full stainless exhaust for it, but I was wondering if anyone here knew of any exhaust fabricators in the area?

cheers

Kev, at Kevil's Speed Shop in Paignton (07862 122 131), used to use a nearby fabricator to make the custom stainless exhaust systems for the airhead BMWs he turned into bobbers.
I met the fabricator at BMAD once when he was showing his own bike and the standard of work looked good.
What Kev's into now I can't say now, nor whether the fabricator is still working but he may be able to point you in the right direction.

Cheers,
John

If you want it just patching up I'm happy to weld it if it is fixable.

I will see if I can get the silencer off without the rest of the system disintegrating, but the collector for the two down pipes looks pretty crispy as well. The hole that has been causing running issues is in line with the rear subframe so would be tricky to weld on the bike, but the rest of the silencer is like a cheese grater.

I will check those guys out Chris as theyre only up the road.

Thank you for your suggestion John.

I've used these to repair a header on 990 KTM.

The guy downstairs there made one good exhaust from two for me when the header pipes rotted out and the replacement had rusty flanges.

Good quality quick turnaround very happy.

Was going to recommend Gazelle stainless exhausts but he is now working in France even further away than he was in Wales
