What a fantastic turnout at our TRF monthly meeting last night!
Despite the recent venue change, it was brilliant to see so many members come along and support the group. The new venue worked really well and wed like to say a big thank you to the staff at The Twisted Oak for being so welcoming and accommodating its very much appreciated.
A special mention also to Jules, our Vice Chair, who did a great job hosting the meeting in Trevors absence. Stepping up like that isnt always easy, but he handled it brilliantly.
The TRF is run entirely by volunteers who give up their time to keep things moving, organise rides, liaise on access issues and keep our local group strong so thank you to everyone who helps behind the scenes and everyone who turns up to support it.
Thats what makes this group what it is
It's pretty obvious that navigation is a hot topic and one that's difficult to cover in the monthly meeting. There was some really good suggestions last night on how best to deliver training on this and as a group we're actively looking at ways to do this - more details coming soon.
Don't forget next month we are continuing the navigation theme with Tim Redman who will be giving a presentation on the Xplore Roadbooks series.
